Actress and yoga instructor Maxene Magalona feels there is nothing better than to live a life full of positivity.
Magalona believes that there is no room for negativity in one’s life as she stressed in her Instagram post yesterday, September 28.
“Your soul already knows the way,” she emphasized.
“Why do you allow yourself to be controlled by your ego? Why do you choose to get stuck in your mind and be consumed by your stories? Why do you keep placing blame on others for your current life situation?” she said.
She said basking on past mistakes and complaining too much is something that can ruin one’s life.
“Stop complaining and just let go,” Magalona advised. “Look inside you and let go of all the dark and negative energy that’s been weighing you down.”
Magalona feels it is better to channel one’s energy to activities that are useful and beneficial.
“Instead, use your energy to be grateful for life and just keep moving forward. Whatever happened in the past is done. Whatever is about to happen in the future doesn’t even exist. Make better life choices NOW. It’s the only way,” she said.
For her, there is only oneself to rely on in times of crisis.
“Suck it up, grow up and SHOW UP for yourself every damn day because no one else is going to do this for you but YOU. Sorry but there is no quick and easy fix,” she stressed, noting that “this is going to be a long, painful yet glorious journey that you will HAVE to embark on.”
Magalona believes that the road to wellness can be “messy and confusing at times.”
“But if you can trust and surrender to God and just keep going no matter how difficult things get, you will emerge on the other side victorious like a bright, beautiful phoenix rising from the ashes,” she said.
At the end of her post, she expressed the belief that she is being guided by her higher consciousness to do better.
“This is what my soul/higher consciousness has been telling me ever since I started connecting to my inner Self on the path of spiritual awakening. It’s about time you start connecting to yours too,” she said. /ra
