Actress and fitness coach Michelle Madrigal looked back at her young self through a self-addressed letter which touched on the value of letting go, being real and self love.
Madrigal recalled how fearful and hurt she was as a young child, as per her Instagram post yesterday, Oct. 26, where she shared throwback photos of herself.
“I know that you’re scared. I know that you have gone through some painful experiences growing up,” she told herself. “It’s time to let your guard down now, you no longer need to be hurting anymore. You don’t need to be triggered by every single thing.”
Madrigal noted that there are good people who want the best for her, people who she doesn’t need to please so she’d be accepted by them.

“You are allowed to set boundaries,” she said. “Everything you need and want in life is within you.”
She also stressed how important it is to “forgive and let go of those who hurt you.”
“You are allowed to break free from your old thinking patterns. You are safe now. You are loved. You are amazing. You are an inspiration,” she added.
Madrigal has been busy in her ventures on health and fitness, joining physical fitness contests like the global search for Ms. Health & Fitness in the United States. She has also participated in a fitness competition, Hyrox America, in Austin, Texas where she placed fifth in her age group. JB
