TV host and news anchor Connie Sison spoke up about her isolation after she got exposed to COVID-positive people recently.
Sison narrated how her isolation went through her Instagram page today, Jan. 10, where she shared photos and a video while in solitude.
“Good Monday Morning!!! On self-isolation after my exposure with some Covid positive peeps. Not used to waking up alone but it’s what’s best to protect my family. I miss them terribly,” she said.
But Sison manages to find ways to still communicate with her kids, such as through apps.
“Buti nalang (It’s good) we can [Facetime] and I can write them sweet nothings outside the [guest room] door. I still tested NEGATIVE from Covid this morning and I pray it will remain that way,” she said.
During isolation, Sison shared would start her day with a prayer then watching CCF service with Pastor Peter.
“I also started on this Netflix series, Manifest last night, drank my Lemon Salabat while re-reading some of my all time fave books by Oswald Chambers under our sunny patio, on my rocking chair with all my Vitamins in front of me — Very lolaish lol but yes!” she quipped.
Sison also shared how her daughter Maxine is “anxious,” in another post.
“Says she wants me to come out na. Explained why I still can’t. She sent me the most wonderful drawing of our whole family together with all of our [four] doggos in it,” the mom said.
For Sison, the virus gives one a hassle as “[COVID-19] disrupts love and life.”
“And while the virus is everywhere; so also is our Almighty God. Remember: Faith is looking on to Jesus, not our difficulties,” she said, asking people to “be strong in mind, body and soul.”
“Still Covid-Negative this morning,” she noted. “Isolating just to be sure until I reach my peak from time of exposure.” JB
