Just after last week’s Jisoo and Heart Evangelista twinning moment at the Paris Dior show, we’ve been gifted another accidental Blackpink x Filipino icon coordinated ’fits.
This time, it’s Jennie and Bretman Rock, who both attended the luxury fashion brand Jacquemus’ beachside runway show in Hawaii for its Le Splash collection. It’s like two distant planets aligning for the first time: Jennie is a long-time Jacquemus girl, so of course she’d show up at its first show outside of France. And on the other corner, Rock is a fashion diva based in Hawaii, so of course he’d be there too.

What’s even better is that they both wore bright, monochromatic ’fits that complemented each other’s look. Jennie was a vision in pink with a cute Jacquemus La Maille Gelato checkerboard cropped shirt, striped midi skirt, and heeled mules. Meanwhile, Rock went all green in a gingham cutout top, neon palazzo pants, and sandals, topped with a leafy crown. We love a plantita.
Unlike Heart and Jisoo, the two actually did interact and were snapped together. Rock even shared a cute selfie on his Instagram Story, captioning it “Cosmo and Wanda ain’t slick.” Glad we weren’t the only ones who saw the matchy-matchyness of it all.
Now that we’ve had two Blackpink members in a row having fashion moments with Filipino stars, we can’t help but be greedy and imagine other cute accidental pairs. Rosé and Bryanboy? Lisa and Nadine Lustre? The mind reels.
