Celebrity mompreneur Neri Naig-Miranda is feeling the excitement over her graduation tomorrow, which she will enjoy after completing a business administration course under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) at the University of Baguio.
ETEEAP is an alternative educational system which allows working professionals to get a bachelor’s degree without going through the process of a formal education.
Naig expressed her joy via her Instagram page today, June 28, where she shared a photo of the commencement exercise venue in Baguio.
“Graduation Rehearsal now. THIS IS IT! Ga-graduate na ako at makakapag-march pa bukas (I will be graduating and I will march tomorrow)!” she said.
Miranda proudly admitted that she is the oldest among the graduates.
“Looking at the graduates, ako lang pinakamatanda, hihi! Pero hindi yun hindrance para sa gusto ko na maka-graduate. May listahan ako before turning 40. Ang maka-graduate ng college ay isa sa top priorities ko,” she said.
(Looking at the graduates, I am the only oldest one (laughs). But that is not a hindrance in my desire to graduate. I have a list [to accomplish] before turning 40. To graduate in college is one of my top priorities.)
Miranda encouraged fellow mothers and housewives to finish a college course.
“Kaya sa lahat ng mga mommies at misis dyan na gustong tapusin ang kolehiyo, GO FOR IT! May ETEEAP Program naman kaya mas mabalance mo yung time mo. Unti unti matatapos mo rin. Check your school if may ETEEAP Program sila,” she shared.
(To all the mommies and housewives out there who want to finish college, go for it. There is the ETEEAP program which can allow you to balance your time. Slowly, you will finish it. Check your school if it has an ETEEAP Program.)
The graduation, Miranda said, is for her children and her husband, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda who is very supportive of her. It is also foremost for herself, as she believes there is nothing impossible for a person who is driven.
Previously, Naig also earned an entrepreneurship certificate from Harvard Business School Online. JB
