After recovering from COVID-19, Thirdy Ravena gets selected to compete in the slam dunk contest of Japan’s B. League All-Star Game
Ateneo’s basketball superstar Thirdy Ravena has been selected for the slam dunk contest B. League All-Star Game, which is a professional men’s basketball league in Japan created in September 2016.
Ravena debuted with Japan B. League team San-en NeoPhoenix in November. According to a tweet from one of the top division teams in Japan B. League, the athlete was selected by league recommendation.
The 6’2 athlete and the country’s lone three-time UAAP Finals MVP helped the NeoPhoenix win back-to-back games for a 4-17 record. The All-Star Weekend will be on Jan. 15-16 at Adastria Mito Arena.
