For Isabel Marant, the French fashion designer of her own eponymous brand, this SS23 collection was all about reflecting on the past. The designer has proven her timelessness with reinvented pieces that reference her label’s image in the 90s. 

For this collection, Marant seamlessly puts together the laid-back feminine. Flowy, gypsy-like pieces in subtle summery hues invite the warm summer breeze in any season. Referencing her tomboy roots, the designer incorporated biker-chic leather bottoms, from capri pants, cargo shorts, and mini skirts.

Marant’s SS23 is a summer vacation in this winter season. The designer lives up to her philosophy of only designing pieces that she would wear. The collection is familiar, comforting, and wearable: we’re already envisioning ourselves dressed in her bohemian florals, knit swimwear, and flowy garments. Marant’s muse is everything we want to be — effortlessly mature, chic, and feminine.
