Blinks are starting the year right as YG Entertainment confirmed that Jisoo will be releasing her first solo album this year.

“BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album. While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans. She will greet [fans] soon with good news.”

The four-piece record-breaking k-pop girl group is in the middle of their ‘Born Pink’ world tour, which saw them perform at various locations in North America and in Europe. This 2023 they will be picking up where they left off, heading to key cities in Asia and Oceania.

Jisoo will be the last member of BLACKPINK to have her solo debut. Jennie released SOLO in 2018, while Rosé’s ‘R’ featuring ‘On the Ground’ and ‘Gone’, and Lisa’s ‘MONEY’ and ‘LALISA’ were both released in 2021.
