LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza collection is the epitome of island spirit
The palpable energy of Ibiza’s island life sets the scene for LOEWE and their latest collection.
Paula’s Ibiza, the legendary boutique and epicenter of Balearic style during the 1970s onwards, joins forces with the Spanish luxury house to produce a line-up of pieces grounded on the unique elements that make up Ibiza’s laid-back lifestyle.
Woven raffia and Iraca palm dominate LOEWE’s latest roster of accessories, painted in bright tropical hues reminiscent of sweet summers spent lounging around the pool or by the beach. “There is an ease to the pieces that makes them versatile and, with a stress on weaving, braiding and texture, aligns with LOEWE’s sense of craft,” the fashion house shared via press release.
“New woven styles are introduced for bags: the colorful LOEWE Font Tote, with the logo spelled out loud, available in three different sizes; the Petal Basket, with a wavy profile. The petite and practical Gardener Bucket is inspired by greenery. The capacious fold shopper for men is apt for different uses, from beach to town. For adding a personalized touch to bags, the collection also includes a wide selection of playful charms.”
Polo shirts, skirts, and dresses made in crochet further embed the essence of LOEWE’s laid-back charm.
Traces of denim, linen, and light cottons are also incorporated into the collection, marrying their organic tones with Ibiza’s vibrant prints. The LOEWE Anagram recurs as a motif, while real alocasia leaves are transformed into tops.
