MANILA, Philippines–In a bid to showcase Filipino culture and art on the international scene, the Viaje 3 Art Program has announced its next major endeavor: the Viaje 3 Travel Exhibition.

Set to take place from May 1-15, 2024, at the Abla Ababou Galerie in Rabat, Morocco, the event, under the leadership of Presidential Awardee Virgilio Cuizon and hosted by Kunst Filipino, promises to be a significant cultural showcase.

The Viaje 3 Travel Exhibition aims to celebrate the Philippines’ rich cultural history meshed with contemporary artistic innovation, presenting a unique opportunity for Filipino art to shine globally. This initiative is a testament to the program’s commitment to both preserving and evolving Filipino cultural identity through art.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in Rabat and Ambassador Leslie Baja, ensuring a deep-rooted cultural exchange. It will feature works from notable Filipino artists such as Frederick Epistola, Batilyo, Yelcast, Doy Kastilyo, Lerma Julian, and Eric Punzalan, each bringing their unique perspectives and styles to the fore.

More than just an art exhibition, the Viaje 3 program includes a series of interactive talks and workshops to be held at the Université Internationale de Rabat. These sessions are designed to foster dialogue and creative exchange, deepening the understanding and appreciation of Filipino art and culture in a vibrant Moroccan setting.
