Davao friends, if you’re looking to go somewhere today (Dec. 1), let it be this. REVERE is celebrating its 5th anniversary today.
REVERE through its consistent releases has always represented Davao and for their anniversary, their inviting everyone in their hometown to celebrate. “Merging as much art and music has also been a feat Revere has been trying to pursue; I think it is very Davao to be very collaborative and crafty. We didn’t want to stay exclusive since a lot of our friends are from different music and art scenes.” French Andico, sole proprietor shares.
REVERE’s 5th anniversary will feature performances from Rjay Ty and Dj Buddah from Manila and a lot of acts from Davao’s very own hip-hop, pop-punk and hardcore music scenes. Completing the line up are Delinquent Society, David vs Goliath, Josephina, BudGuys, Ya Familla, the Sound of Go, Dosage and Machine Gun Hero. Joining the beats is DJ Jon Game.
More than the performances, three artists from Davao’s graffiti scene will also be doing a live art at 3pm and 10 local merchandise from Davao, Cebu and Laguna namely Enimal, Deadways, ProsnCons, Crvst, Cheats, Stormproof, Knob, nine-nails, Commune and Przm will be selling as well. Come in early as tickets will go for 300 pesos from 3 to 4pm and 200 thereon after.
