’Tis the season for a girl-powered holiday playlist
We love our Christmas songs and all the good vibes they bring, but you know what’s even better? Listening to holiday hits performed by our favorite pop girls. As we get closer to the peak of the Christmas season, we’re slowly getting more covers and new holiday hits to add to our playlists. Here are some of our picks.
Laufey’s “Santa Baby”
As part of her annual holiday offerings, contemporary jazz singer-songwriter Laufey gives a playfully chill take on the cheeky Christmas classic originally performed by Eartha Kitt.

Kelly Clarkson’s “You For Christmas”
For all those with a specific special someone on their wishlists this year, this song’s for you. Powerhouse vocalist Kelly Clarkson just released “When Christmas Comes Around… Again,” a 17-track Christmas album featuring a mix of iconic pop covers and original holiday tracks.
Bini’s “Joy to the World”
In true Bini fashion, the Nation’s Girl Group is putting a bubblegum pop flavor to one of the most quintessential Christmas songs. The group has yet to release the full track, but from its teaser alone, we can already tell it’ll be a bop.
Aespa’s “Jingle Bell Rock” and Jeongyeon’s “O Christmas Tree”
While not as new as the other songs on this list, these 2023 releases from some of our fave K-pop girls are definitely going to be replayed on our playlists, too. Aespa’s cover of “Jingle Bell Rock” adds a short, edgy rap break, making this party favorite extra c*nty, if you ask us.
Meanwhile, Twice’s Jeongyeon offers a sweet, slightly jazzy take on the classic “O Christmas Tree” that would sound perfect for chill dinner gatherings.
