Not to be emotional on main, but “happiness” feels like a misty term at the moment. In this quest to scour for definitions to cling to, we’re looking at 88rising’s virtual concert “Double Happiness.”
This month, the inaugural virtual concert of the Asian-American music collective is back with another round of performances. Happening on Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. PST (Feb. 5, 11 a.m. in the Philippines), this global festival doubles as a celebration of the Lunar New Year—hence the tiger emoji cameos in their invites here and there.

Are you pulling up for a good time or to catch badass acts? You’re getting both, thanks to its roster: Jackson Wang, Audrey Nuna, Warren Hue, MILLI, Seori, Woosung, MINO, Alex Porat, Adawa, Mỹ Anh, Stephanie Poetri, Shayiting El, Youngohm, and Yuzhen.
Passes are free—all you have to do is catch the stream on their official Facebook page or YouTube channel, really. But they’d be glad to receive donations, as proceeds will be sent to the Asian Mental Health Collective, an organization that pushes to de-stigmatize mental health and make it more accessible to the Asian community.
