Who doesn’t love weird, unofficial holidays? Since all it takes to have a day recognized as an observance is to write an application for one to a national government or to the UN, there’s been a bevy of silly and ridiculous holidays (Nosepicking Day, anybody?). 

Today, Jan. 20, happens to be Cheese Lover’s Day. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, a day to commemorate cheese in all its dairy and non-dairy forms. So to celebrate this day, Yellow Cab will be handing out free nine-inch cheese pizzas. 

You don’t have to be at a Yellow Cab branch to get a free pizza. It’s available for dine-in, takeout, online deliveries, and curbside pickups. The giveaway, though, is only available to customers who have a single minimum receipt purchase amounting to P1,000.
