But the beauty about going online is that its reach is now no longer just limited to our local audience—now the rest of the world, including our kababayans abroad, can see and enjoy the work that our local artists and performers have poured into these productions.

In an article posted Aug. 20, ABS-CBN News reported that the Eraserheads jukebox musical, “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” (AHEB) will be made available for viewing via TFC Online this September.

AHEB was previously put up for limited-time streaming on YouTube last May as part of the network’s Pantawid ng Pag-ibig program for the benefit of families hit by the pandemic.

The musical’s 2019 run featured two sets of casts; while the YouTube run last May only featured one set, the TFC run, as hinted at by several cast members on their social media channels, may have both casts’ shows available for viewing.

TFC subscribers can avail of an early bird rental promo for USD 4.99 to watch the musical. The show can be viewed for 48 hours upon rental.

Meanwhile, the recently concluded Cinemalaya 2020 will also be made available via TFC next month. Subscribers can purchase an All-Access Festival Pass to view the more than 80 films and virtual events and classes in the season’s roster.
