ABS-CBN is making a TV comeback, thanks to the A2Z Channel | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

After the denial of their franchise renewal and the recall of their frequencies, what’s next for ABS-CBN? The broadcast giant announced that some of their shows will be returning to everyone’s televisions through analog channel A2Z Channel, formerly known as Zoe Channel 11.

In a press statement, ABS-CBN confirmed their broadcast deal with Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc., owned by the Jesus is Lord Church of evangelist Eddie Villanueva.

The A2Z Channel is described as a “Christian, family-oriented and wholesome television and radio broadcasting station.” They have been granted a legislative franchise and authority to operate in AM and FM radio stations in key cities, very high frequency (VHF) channel 11 in Mega Manila and ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) channel 33 in Mega Manila and Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

The channel will be seen on analog TV in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, featuring content from ABS-CBN beginning Oct. 10. They have yet to announce which shows will be featured, though earlier reports say the list includes variety shows “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP Natin ’To.”

“ABS-CBN and Zoe are committed to work together to provide entertainment, public service programs, and educational content to the public,” their statement reads.
