President Barack Obama just gave his farewell speech and it’s emotional in so many levels. First, because Pres. Obama teared up and so did Michelle and their daughter Malia. And second, it’s finally dawning on everyone that these are his last few days in office.

We’d like to go over the outpouring of gratitude for his service. Ellen DeGeneres―who has interviewed both Barack and Michelle on her show, and was awarded the Medal of Freedom last November―even found Twitter’s 140-character limit too short to express her love for him.
.@POTUS @BarackObama I love you more than I have space on Twitter to describe. #ObamaFarewell

TV host Larry King applauded the speech and called it inspirational. Meanwhile, actress and activist Sophia Bush felt honored to work with Obama during his term.
.@BarackObama's farewell address was inspirational. You served your nation well, Mr. President. Thank you @POTUS. #ObamaFarewell

Oh Mr. President… it has been my honor to work in this administration. Thank you … #ObamaFarewell #MyPresident ❤🇺🇸❤ pic.twitter.com/nPxx68BwMY

There are still so many others who posted their own tributes to the outgoing President, which include quotes to keep in mind from his speech, throwback photos, and just heart-wrenching photos of him with Vice-President Joe Biden and his wife Michelle and their family.

Hope you enjoyed Obama's speech. You won't hear anything so cogent and kind for a long time. So, with complete sincerity: THANKS, OBAMA.

We’ll now leave you with probably Obama’s last tweet as President. Take note of this now before we deal with Trump’s angry tweets for the next four years.
Thank you for everything. My last ask is the same as my first. I'm asking you to believe—not in my ability to create change, but in yours.
