Actress Dimples Romana made public her support for local artisans as she introduced her kids Alonzo and Elio to lowkey fashion.
Romana unabashedly declared her support to wearing upcycled flour sacks as can be seen in her Instagram post yesterday, Dec. 26, where she is seen in photos with sons Elio and Alonzo.
“Mom and these two boys wearing local for Christmas morning,” she said in her post. “Encouraging the fam to keep supporting local and Introducing slow fashion to the two boys by wearing these upcycled flour sacks from @andagainclothing bought at the @frankiegeneralstore.”
“Sending you all super happy vibes as I head out to what I feel would be a truly life changing business meeting. Cant wait to share with you all what we have been up to. Soooo excited,” she said.
In another post on the same day, she showed her comfortability in wearing “upcycled flour sacks from @andagainclothing, bare skinned, hair down, happy heart and free spirit.”
The casual wear is “paired with a timepiece lovingly made by dad @papaboyetonline.”
In yet another post on the same day, Romana raved on her son Alonzo’s loving gestures to his baby brother Elio.
“Mornings are for saying THANK YOU Father God for all the blessings we have been receiving this year and one of the biggest one would definitely having #AlonzoRomeoJose to be the most amazingly loving and giving Kuya to Elio,” she said about Alonzo.
“Some would say it’s a bit more challenging to parent and raise a middle child, I have heard it quite a few times after giving birth to my third. But so far, I have seen and felt nothing but love from this middle child. I am grateful for you Kuya Alonzo,” she added, noting that Alonzo makes “parenting feel easy and fun always.” /ra
