DAVAO CITY – Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro on Thursday announced that free passes for the Mindanao Tapestry fashion show will be given to fanatics who will dress up like Miss Universe candidates.

De Castro said at least 150 passes will be given away before the show starts at the SMX in Lanang here.

But she said the winners should be in their best “Miss Universe” outfit.

“They can wear a crown or a sash,” she said, adding that those who want to join the contest should be at the venue at 3 p.m.

At least 29 Miss Universe candidates are scheduled to arrive here for the 7 p.m. fashion show.

Some of the candidates will be wearing dresses made by local designers. CDG
