Makelle Ahlin and her husband, Jared, are expecting the arrival of their third child soon, but one thing clear about the baby is that he or she is ready to “rock ‘n’ roll.”

The Utah-based couple claimed that their little one “flashed” the hardcore sign during an ultrasound session last week.

“My husband saw it first. He told the ultrasound tech to ‘go back’ as she was moving around,” Makelle mentioned to CBS News. “He said, ‘We need a picture of that.’ He was so excited by what he had just witnessed.”

Upon sighting the image, the expectant parents cackled to know that the baby was having a rocking time inside her womb. Makelle told the news site, “I think the baby definitely likes music. I usually have music playing throughout the day at home–I like the background noise so it’s probably a comfort thing.”

The couple and her two sons, ages 4 and 2, enjoy listening to country and pop music, exposing their baby to a variety of melodies.

“So, the baby has listened to a wide variety of music and I feel as though it enjoys it all,” she explained, highlighting that they have the original printed copies of the sonogram to disprove claims that the image was digitally enhanced. “It’s so surreal to us, but we are loving on this little rockstar already!”

The mom-to-be also broke the rocking news on her Facebook page. “Well, it’s official our kids are the coolest even before they enter the world…or they are just really full of themselves, but I already knew that was going to happen, just look at their dad,” she captioned her ultrasound image.

Makelle will give birth to their infant rock star by June and is keeping the baby’s gender a “top secret” to their loved ones until this weekend.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
