Celebrities trooped to Cebu to join and support the recent 2017 Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3.
Matteo Guidicelli finished his Ironman 70.3 in 5:24:58, beating his record last year of 5:31:54; Kim Atienza’s time was 6:22:51; Bubbles Paraiso clocked in at 6:56:02; and designer Dennis Lustico debuted at 7:52:19.
Among those in the relay were Piolo Pascual (bike), Enchong Dee (swim), Gerald Anderson (bike), Jake Cuenca (bike), Christine Jacob-Sandejas (swim) and Kim Chiu (run).
A total of 2,762 athletes from 52 countries competed in this year’s Ironman 70.3 in Cebu. The Queen City of the South is set to host next year’s Asia-Pacific Championships, where more than 3,000 athletes are expected to participate.
