MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity surfer and fitness enthusiast Luke Landrigan has just been announced as the newest Skyjet Airlines ambassador last September 18, 2017 at Kermit Surf in Siargao. Landrigan, a Filipino-Australian who is currently considered to be the face of Philippine surfing, is credited to have paved the way for other Filipinos to become surfers and make careers out of it.
During the grand launch party for his announcement that was hosted by Paolo Soler and Tin Catacutan and catered by Chef JP Anglo’s group, the airline gifted Landrigan with a customized longboard with Skyjet logo to formally welcome him to the Skyjet Airlines family. Skyjet considers him fit to represent the brand, as he himself is a surfer, and considers Siargao his second home. Siargao is one of the main flight points of Skyjet Airlines, as the company offers direct flights from Manila to Siargao in just 1 hour and 15 minutes.
In attendance during the event were other Filipino surfers and representatives of Skyjet Airlines. The night’s entertainment was provided by Mosquito band.
Landrigan has always maintained his desire to make a legacy of helping Filipino surfers become known internationally, and in accepting this ambassadorship for Skyjet Airlines, that desire may soon be a reality.
Expect Luke Landrigan’s presence in key destinations during the Travel Sale Fair of Skyjet Airlines:
