Japanese cosmetics are known around the world for being of premium quality. Perhaps it is with this rationale that beauty magazine Kai Beauty Press launched a campaign asking readers to find the sole male model among a bunch of 12, all looking exquisite in their makeup.

Actor and model Tom Fujita was selected to get the full makeover treatment to look entirely feminine. His now female-looking photo has been mixed with eleven other girls, reports SoraNews24.

To make it more challenging, each of the 12 models also have their own profile information. Fujita’s info will most likely be fictional.

The magazine also gave three clues to help readers, as tools used to transform Fujita were shown: a powder brush, an electric eyebrow trimmer and heated eyelash curler.

Those who wish to join have until Feb. 14 to post their answer on the official Kai Beauty Press Twitter page. One hundred winners will be selected and each will receive a 42-piece Kai beauty care kit.

The campaign may be limited to Japan given its lack of English instructions. However, finding the odd-man-out may prove to be a good challenge for netizens with discerning eyes. Alfred Bayle/JB
