Robi Domingo: Newest fitness influencer on the block? | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Robi Domingo is up to something. It involves working out and how he’s more than just the “bring home to mama” type of guy. That’s what he told us during the online launch of Tiger Cracker’s newest variants: Ensaymada and Leche Flan. Alongside Kim Chiu, Robi is the latest face for the snack.

The new project proves that, in the middle of so much confusion, Robi has a go-getter attitude.

He has an energy that can put you in a good mood but is also straightforward when it comes to serious matters. Check out his Twitter to get what I’m saying.

Currently, Robi is active on his vlog with Mobile Legends hacks, funny commentaries on current events, and the staple “Day in a Life” fare.

It’s been quite an evolution for Robi Domingo, something to keep you glued to the screen.

But the working on his fitness part? He says it’s a side of him he’s excited for us to get to know.

Tell us about your workout.
Ever since March, I have been doing this One-Punch Man workout. That anime inspired me as I watched it on Netflix.

What he does is 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 10 km run. I do 1,000 jumping jacks instead since we can’t go out. I will be releasing a vlog soon about that transformation.

What got you on this fitness high?
It’s my dream to show off my fitness achievements. By Sep. 22, I want to release footage that shows another side of me, a new dynamic.

When I watch K-Dramas with my mom, I aspire to be like the leading men in those shows. I want to attain Jerry Yan’s physique. I’ve got high standards.

What do you tell yourself when you’re losing motivation?
I had those moments, but it boils down to knowing your purpose. That’s what people need, especially these days.

If you feel down, then allow yourself to feel down, but after that, ask, “Why are you doing this?” If you know your “Whys” in life, then no one can stop you from being motivated.

Tiger Crackers: Post-workout snack or guilty pleasure?
It’s a guilt-free pleasure. Honestly, when I work out either running or weightlifting, I don’t eat much. When I snack, I eat mindfully, and I could do that with Tiger. I wouldn’t worry that much, even if I calorie count.
