Actress and yoga instructor Maxene Magalona shared with her fans and followers her prenup video to celebrate her third wedding anniversary with musician Rob Mananquil.
The couple is currently based in Indonesia, managing to make a living as yoga teachers after they have been stranded there earlier this year, due to international border closures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Magalona nonetheless happily recalled her special day through the video, as seen on her Instagram post today, Jan. 11.
The video, to the tune of the track called “Gunita,” shows Magalona and Mananquil in various colorful scenes, either dancing or playing music, and in romantic poses.
“In honor of our 3rd wedding anniversary, we’re posting our prenup video which we only shared with our guests at our reception,” Magalona revealed. “Every time I watch this, it brings happy tears to my eyes and makes my heart beam with pride as I know how my husband pours his soul into each and every one of his songs.”
For her, “Gunita,” which means memory or remembrance, is perfect and has become her favorite “because its melody sounds like a representation of our love — high-strung and intense yet dreamy and harmonious.”

Magalona described it as a “kaleidoscopic balance between the light and the dark.” She also admits their marriage has its ups and downs, but Magalona couldn’t see life without Mananquil.
“Ours is not the perfect marriage and I know we still have a long way ahead of us but there’s no one I’d rather go on this journey with than you, @robmananquil,” she addressed him. “You’re the only song my soul longs to sing. I love you. Happy 3rd wedding anniversary!” JB
