On March 9, my secretary was showing me pictures of new friends she met in Zambales City. They all work as commercial and magazine models.

She was showing me a picture of a pretty girl when she asked me, “How old do you think she is?” Without thinking, I said, “Twenty-five.” She laughed, surprised, because that girl just turned 25. She didn’t think I could guess her correct age because she looks much younger in the picture.

“OK, what else can you see?” she asked next.

I said, “She’s very shy.’’

“That’s right, she’s super shy. Sobra!”

Then, without being asked, I said, “This girl has a big problem.”

‘’What problem?’’ my secretary asked.

‘’Family,’’ I replied. My secretary shouted, “You are right! She ran away from home because of a family problem.’’

“You’re so good! How did you know all that?” she asked.

“I do not know.” I replied. “I just said what came to my mind.”

Psychic reading

What do you call such an ability? I don’t know. I don’t think there’s any name for it. Maybe we can call it “psychic reading through pictures.” Maybe it also involves telepathy, or reading a person’s mind.

I also believe people can do this if they try, because all of us have the same psychic or intuitive faculty. The only difference is that some people have more developed psychic ability or power than others. In the same way, all people can sing or draw pictures, but some are better singers and painters.

I first noticed my ability to read people’s photos in the ’90s when I used to go into trances quite often, and even received messages from the spirit world and higher intelligence.

On one occasion, there was a woman whose father, a well-known public relations practitioner, went missing for three days. The woman called me up and wanted to know only one thing: ‘’Is my father still alive?’’

On the day she called, the father’s picture was on the front page of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

I said, “Call me up after five minutes.” I stared at the picture, and got the impression he was already dead, but I was not sure. So I called up a very good female psychic and fortune teller and asked her.

She said, “That man is dead.”

Still not satisfied, I called a highly developed psychic and healer who was a student of my ESP seminars. He was more detailed.

He said, “The man is definitely dead. He was killed on the first day he went missing. His body was burned but not completely, and buried in a shallow grave in Cavite.”

One month later, the body of that man was found in a shallow grave in Cavite, together with his driver. No suspect was found, and the case has remained unsolved until now.

When the daughter called me up again after five minutes, I told her, “I’m sorry to say that your father is already dead.”

Kirlian photography

Sometime in the mid-’90s, I met a man named Arvydas Daskos, a psychic researcher from Lithuania, and his companion, Juliet Hanauer, an American documentary filmmaker. They were investigating faith healers, especially Jun Labo of Baguio City.

Daskos was at that time taking Kirlian photographs (also known as “aura photographs”) of famous people.

We were in his hotel when Hanauer started showing me pictures of the people Daskos had photographed. As she laid the pictures one by one on the bed, I recognized some of those people who were internationally well-known.

Then she showed me a picture of a young man, which seemed to stand out as I looked at it. I held the picture closely to me and I said, “Arvydas, this man is telling me something. He is saying that you should not worry about him, that he is in a nice and happy place. Who is this man?”

When I looked at Daskos, he was teary-eyed and looked very sad.

Softly he said, “That’s my 18-year-old son who died six months ago. I have been asking how he is on the other side. Thank you very much.”

He slowly look the picture of his son from me.

I was flabbergasted! Hanauer was actually testing me. That picture was not in the collection of the famous people whom Daskos photographed. She wanted to test my psychic perception, and we all got the surprise of our lives.

Maybe it is true that we are all connected. The whole universe is connected—nothing can be hidden, and as the Bible says, “Everything hidden will be revealed.”
