Junior TV host and anchor Gretchen Ho feels elated to have co-anchored a telethon for the victims of typhoon Odette with veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez.

For her, the experience was so enriching that she shared in her Instagram post today, December 30, what it was like to be working with Sanchez and Paolo Bediones, side by side.

“What an honor to have co-anchored last night’s #TuloyPaRinAngPasko telethon for #OdettePH victims with @paolobediones and @korina as our special guest,” she said in her post.

Then, she revealed Sanchez’s practice to make herself look flawlessly beautiful on screen.

“Para po sa inyong kaalaman, si @korina ang tunay na pasimuno ng sistema ng “DIVA LIGHTS” sa Pilipinas,” Ho declared. (For your information, @korina is the real pioneer of the system called “DIVA LIGHTS” in the Philippines.)

“Kung ikaw ay isang mamamahayag, o kaya broadcasting student, alam niyo siguro na kilalang kilala si madam @korina para sa kanyang pagpapalagay ng DIVA LIGHTS tuwing sasalang sa newscast. Ibig sabihin—may ilaw sa ilalim palagi para mas maganda ang labas sa TV,” Ho revealed.

(If you are a broadcaster or a broadcasting student, you perhaps know that madam @korina is very well known for putting DIVA LIGHTS whenever she takes the newscaster’s seat. It means–there is always light beneath so your appearance on TV is better.)

Ho also revealed that it’s called DIVA LIGHTS because the light brand used is called DIVA LITES.

Hi also urged everyone to donate for the victims of typhoon Odette.
