As a token of gratitude, broadcaster and TV host Korina Sanchez gave the son of her children’s nanny a birthday gift he can use in his online education.
Sanchez shared that her kids Pepe and Pilar’s nanny, named Maricel, is back in her hometown to celebrate her son’s birthday, as seen in her Instagram post today, May 25, where she showed a collage of photos with her while she was still with them.
“It’s a great way to start the day, receiving this photo from Pepe [and] Pilar’s Ate Maricel reunited with her seven year old son Dan Forrest who just celebrated his birthday, this time with his Mama by his side,” Sanchez wrote in her caption.

Maricel, Sanchez shared, “took care of my twins since they were 3 months old.”
“She helped teach them to be the smarties they are today. For three years, Maricel took care of my children while her own was in the province. Time for Dan’s Mama to come back home,” she said.
Generous that she is, Korina sent Maricel’s son a learning tablet “to better teach him the way only his Mama could do best.”
“Happiest birthday Dan Forrest and happiest for his Mama Maricel who we are forever thankful to,” she said.
This is not the first time Sanchez showed her generosity to her house helpers. In 2020, Sanchez treated her lockdown residence house helpers Gerlan and Jesselyn to sumptuous dinners and shopping sprees to celebrate their birthdays.
