The Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) recently hosted “Diplomats in Concert,” a successful fundraising event. The concert brought together envoys from various countries to showcase their musical talents and raise funds for charitable causes.
Proceeds of concert went to Guanella Home, for the medical care of children with disabilities; Ballet Philippines, for scholarships of disadvantaged talented children; Casa Bantu, for teaching life skills to teenagers in slum areas; and Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko, for medications of children with leukemia.
The organizers surpassed their target, thanks to the generosity of the attendees.
Guest of honor was first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
“Diplomats in Concert” was a showcase of the diverse talents of diplomats and a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
