They always say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. That may be true, but have you considered going the aural route? I personally think that if you want to soften someone’s heart, you should do it through music. Like, good ol’ nostalgic music. The kind that just makes you gasp and stop in your tracks because it’s tugging at your heartstrings.

Okay, no, I’m not getting emotional—not yet. But I’m sure you will once you hear classic jams like Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me” or Stephen Speaks’ “Passenger Seat” live. These and other ’90s acts like Blue, Vertical Horizon, Moonstar88, Rivermaya, and MYMP will be performing at the Playback Music Festival this coming Feb. 10 at Circuit Makati.

Aside from these nostalgic musical acts, video game booths, outdoor movie and TV series screenings will also be held at the festival.
