Carmen’s Best is a household name when it comes to premium Filipino ice cream brands. Part of it comes from their use of fresh milk and prime ingredients, a decision that paid off immensely with the opening of its first overseas store in Singapore

With a goal to become a “Filipino-made, world-class ice cream brand,” owner and founder Paco Magsaysay is taking his first steps towards it with a new Singapore store that opened on Nov. 25. Currently on soft opening at Capitol Singapore, the homegrown brand is giving many citizens of the Lion City (as well as Singapore-based Filipinos) a chance to taste flavors such as crowd favorites milk chocolate, butter pecan, and Sicily-sourced pistachio alongside a Singapore-exclusive cheese ice cream with cheese chunks. 

From its beginnings as a dairy farm to its ever-expanding roster of stores and partners, Carmen’s Best continues to solidify its varied flavors as the standard of Filipino ice cream creation.
