Calling all lovesick poets: flyers with a knack for verse are invited to write their most sentimental sonnets on an airsick bag for the chance to win a pair of return flights for Valentine’s Day.

At the risk of alienating singletons or spurned lovers, easyJet says the contest is open to all, “whether you’re lovesick or just sick of Valentine’s Day.”

The promotion cleverly ties the idea of in-flight airsick bags and symptoms like dizziness, palpitations, nausea, legs that shake and chronic lack of concentration into only one possible diagnosis: love sickness.

Though the contest is free to enter, poems must be written on an easyJet sick bag. Entrants must also be residents of Europe.

To enter, poems must be photographed and uploaded on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #LoveSickSonnets and tagged with @easyJet.

The contest closes Feb. 28. Visit easyJet’s official website for more details. JB
