Last month, I found myself excitedly explaining to a popular movie actor-turned-politician the four hidden laws of nature which govern human life on earth.

Our conversation began with the subject of coincidences which happen to everybody at one time or another.

Coincidence, which is called “synchronicity” by Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, refers to the simultaneous occurrence of two unrelated but meaningful events which do not have any discernible or tangible cause. Jung calls these events “acausal” or “without a cause.”

But I told the politician that, actually, I don’t think there’s anything that happens without an underlying cause, although we may not be aware of it. Coincidences, I pointed out, violate the Law of Causality, which is one of the hidden or secret laws of nature.

“What’s that?” he curiously asked.

Law of Causality

The Law of Causality states that “everything has a cause,” and, therefore, there is no such thing as a coincidence or a noncausal event.

Even Jung admitted the possibility that so-called coincidences may be the two ends in a series of causes not obvious or known to us.

“What are the other three hidden laws of nature?” the politician proceeded to ask me.

“They are the Law of Attraction, the Law of Affirmation and the Law of Compensation,”

Law of Affirmation

The Law of Affirmation states, “Whatever you affirm mentally becomes a physical reality later on.” The reason for this is that “everything begins with the mind.” Nothing exists in physical reality unless it first existed in the mind of man or of God.

Before a chair becomes a chair, it must first exist in the mind of a carpenter. Before a painted portrait exists, it must exist in the mind of the painter or artist. And before the sun, moon and stars exist, they must first exist in the mind of God.

Furthermore, your intention or affirmation becomes more effective if accompanied by vivid mental imagery, or visualization.

Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like” on the spiritual and mental planes. This is the opposite of what happens on the physical plane, in which like poles repel each other, and unlike poles attract each other. If you are negative, you will attract negative energies.

Law of Compensation

The Law of Compensation states that, “Everything we do comes back to us, nothing less and nothing more.” This is sometimes called the Karmic Law or the Law of Universal Justice. We cannot escape from the law of karma, whether we believe it or not, and whether we like it or not. We always meet the consequences of our actions either in this lifetime or the next.

I wrote these four hidden laws of nature on a piece of paper and handed it to him, which he carefully placed in his vest pocket.

I told him that understanding these four hidden laws of nature enables us to understand what’s happening in our lives.
