YOU HAVE SEEN the Hollywood disaster movie ?2012? and it may have scared you to death, although you may have admired the dramatic and fantastic special effects thrown into it.

But like most disaster films, this one is also exaggerated. It envisions a total destruction of planet Earth as supposedly predicted by the ancient Mayan Calendar.

The Mayan Calendar, however, does not envision the total destruction of our planet. It predicts merely the end of the last Earth cycle we are in right now, which began, according to them, on Aug. 13, 3114 BC and will end precisely on the winter solstice of Dec. 21, 2012. That?s barely three years from now.

What the Mayan Calendar says is that every end of a cycle is preceded by a destructive catastrophe before a new age or cycle begins. Therefore, as one author pointed out, ?The Earth will not end, it will be transformed.?

Throughout thousands of man?s history, we have seen the cyclical nature of world events. The astronomically knowledgeable Mayan priests calculated these cataclysmic events to take place every 5,126 years.

The Mayan prophecies force us to consider our relationship not only with all the inhabitants of Earth but with the planet as well. According to Gerald Benedict, in his very informative book ?The Mayan Prophecies for 2012:?

?The Maya taught about the seven power centers of the human body by which means the energy of the cosmos was assimilated and expressed ? In Mayan mythology, the source of this energy lies in the Earth from where it begins to move, first in the base of the spine, then through each of the seven chakras.?

This probably explains why when man is removed from the natural rhythm or frequency of the Earth, which is estimated to be about 7.83 cycles per second (equivalent to alpha brain waves) he is disoriented and nauseated. This is what happened to the American astronauts when they first ventured out of the earth?s magnetic or gravitational field. They were out of sync with Mother Earth?s natural energy.

The destructive end of the Earth Cycle will force all of humanity to a radical shift in their thinking or consciousness. For there is not much each of us can do except to go within and listen to our inner selves like we have never listened to it before. As Benedict pointed out, ?There is nothing much humanity can do about it, other than to understand the overpowering changes that will occur, and to flow with them.?

The current headlines in the newspapers all point to the increasing global warming, melting of polar ice caps, increase in the elevation of the ocean?s water level, and extinction of various animal species. The earth is changing much faster than previously predicted by geologists and other scientists.

Given that bleak scenario, it would be best for all humanity to think in terms of what we can do to heal our planet, given the little time that we have. Fortunately, a wise and compassionate entity from the upper fifth dimension, named Ang Suh, taught us recently a simple meditation and visualization technique which I would like to share with my readers. This meditation was channeled by Ang Suh?s current channel, Dr. Helen de Garriz, a radiologist by profession and former student of mine.

Meditation to heal planet Earth

?Visualize the green light of love and healing radiating and pulsating to build up in your heart and the one to receive it should pass it on to the next. Then when the circle is complete, with the last person passing on the green light to the first person, all take a deep breath and direct the green light to Earth. Let the green light stay below your feet for some time. Hold it there and then let it spread as far as you can make it.?

?This exercise will trigger a sense of responsibility in each to heal the Earth and one?s surroundings. Even a session or gathering of a few people can do this and start this healing process. A chain reaction of healing will occur and hearts of men will be touched. The light reaching numerous groups gathered together for the same purpose will light up like a flare in the still of the night. Love is what the Earth needs. Let love stir in you, in each of your hearts and let it spread to your fellow Earthlings, then to Earth.?
