Despite a very hectic December, moi made time to dash to the Oz Bar of the Holiday Inn Suites in Makati City to be with Tupperware Brands Philippines when it awarded its five Women of Confidence.

The awarding was part of “Chain of Confidence,” Tupperware’s campaign for women empowerment.

The program was hosted by Tupperware Brands brand manager for cosmetics Kriska Ramos, who introduced this year’s new set of mega-achievers, “who boldly unleashed their inner strengths in order to make a difference,” she said.

Rico Santos, Tupperware Brands Philippines marketing director, explained, “On our second year, we’ve found, once again, what encourages a woman to have this particular mind-set: ‘Confidence begins with me.’”

Chain of Confidence ambassador Bianca Valerio urged women to make a difference. “Be the hero; don’t wait for someone to be the hero. Remember, we women are all effective,” she said.

Grace, sophistication and style are three qualities that are never out of date.

Now designer Nicole Whisenhunt has launched her latest fine jewelry line—made of gold and crafted with a fine eye for artistry.

In her exhibit at Manila Peninsula Hotel, Whisenhunt impressed loads of women who couldn’t stop to see, buy and take home the excellent line consisting of etched gold drop earrings, slim hammered bangles and ornate bejeweled rings.

Styled by Toni & Guy, several eye-catching muses wore the Whisenhunt designs, natch!
