SARA Black celebrated her 36th birthday this month bedridden with a hip fracture after a biking accident. Still, the photographer and former model looks as radiant and fresh as ever. And while it’s true that her skin shows nary a wrinkle, it’s her spirit and attitude that exude youthfulness and positivity.
The past two weeks saw a series of eye-popping news: reports Raf Simons’ installment at Calvin Klein following his departure from Dior last October; the collapse of Brit department store BHS under the stewardship of Topshop entrepreneur Sir Philip Green; and the surprise sale of DKNY by LVMH to the G-III Apparel Group.
Like most things, the condition of your skin is a matter of choice.
Much has been said of the millennial generation: We’re spoiled, entitled, lazy—the list goes on. But one thing we can’t be accused of is being apathetic. (That’s a classic Gen X-er trait, sorry to say.)

FOR women in their late 20s, life lessons will present themselves, perhaps reflected in motivational posters bearing adages such as, “Nothing is ever truly free,” and “Do not mess with your hair!”
ALL the women in my family snore. While it’s not the most attractive thing to admit, I reject the idea that snoring is most “unbecoming” of a lady.
Last week’s Valentine’s Day celebrations threw my diet askew, as I received boxes of chocolate and dessert from Cadbury, Toblerone and Krispy Kreme.
I admire the bravado of women who wear fully pigmented lipstick on a date. One beauty editor does it on a regular basis because she only drinks out of straws and avoids oily entrées at all costs. She’s also mastered the art of making sure the food doesn’t touch her lips while she’s eating. That’s what I call dedication, but it’s only worth it if you’re really feeling your #lewk. Or if you really want to make an impression on your date.
No matter how good you look on the outside, physical appearances aren’t necessarily indicative of what’s going on inside your body.
