Dominic Rubio, known for his paintings of colonial imagery, and Michael Cacnio, famous for his ability to capture the psyche of the Filipino in his slice-of-life sculptures, partner in an exhibition on the Philippine genre motif of market vendors.
Drawing inspiration from each other’s works, painter Dominic Rubio and fashion designer Frederick Peralta last week staged a rare art exhibit-cum-fashion show at The Podium’s Atrium in Mandaluyong City. Billed as “Artes,” the joint display runs until July 4.
