Lately, my daily routine has been to pass by our Wooden Spoon branch in Katipunan before braving the traffic to drive to Makati. Our branch at Rockwell is now eight months old and, based on customer feedback, is well liked. So we’re looking at adding a location.
Get to know Andres Bonifacio and the rest of the Katipuneros not only as valiant revolutionaries but as passionate theatre artists in Dulaang UP’s “Teatro Porvenir: Ang Katangi-tanging Kasaysayan ni Andres Bonifacio, Macario Sakay at Aurelio Tolentino sa Entablado”.
The sight took my breath away. It was drops of blood of Gen. Emilio Jacinto who was wounded in 1899 in the battle of Maimpis river in Majayjay, Laguna.

Since it’s the weekend of the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (Upcat), it would be fitting to give people or future Peyups students an overview on the little “war” that goes on in Katipunan between Ateneo and UP. Whether in academics or sports, the “Katipuneros” have always been in a constant state of combat.
