Filipino shoppers were spoiled for choice in 2014 as local retail went into hyperdrive, with the mushrooming of malls and the highly anticipated entry of global fashion brands, both from the high street and high luxury.
It was odd to see Daniel Grayson in the flesh without a suit, a cocktail, or a gun in his hand—and with a British accent, to boot. Sartorially speaking, actor Josh Bowman’s closet is a bit more pared down than Daniel, the character he plays on the TV drama “Revenge.”
Penshoppe went back to the street when it presented its Spring-Summer 2014 looks inspired by the global street summer trends.
Fans had begun to gather at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Atrium and SM City North Edsa for Penshoppe’s Fan Conference 2013, but Thai actors and models Mario Maurer and Baifern Pimchanok were still miles away, sitting in Edsa Shangri-La Manila’s Mactan Room.
