Look at all these people. From its amazing origin in 2005, Komikon has evolved into the most important event in the Philippine comics scene. In the two-day Komikon 2016 last Nov. 19 and 20, it seemed apparent that it has evolved even further: It may just be the most important event for Pinoy geekdom, period.

Komikon was a blast! I was there practically the whole day. Comic conventions used to be a hit-and-run affair for me—I’d just come in, buy a bunch of comics, and leave.
